The Fight #55 LNT

Thanks for tapping in to The Life N Times Network !

What makes a fight weekend unforgettable? Start with a UK card that rewards the early watchers, add an underdog who outsmarts a younger prospect, and fold in a heavyweight main where cardio—not power—decides the story. Then drop into Philly, where Jaron “Boots” Ennis turns a bruised sports week into a statement at 154, and close in Brazil with Charles Oliveira refusing caution, outclassing a wrestler on the feet, and sealing it with a second-round choke that shakes the arena.

It's Philly and I like the fight happening episode 55. Listen, man, we had boxing, we had UFC, we had business done with the Brits, and we went to Philly. Okay? Now and we went to Brazil. This was a great weekend. See, I started my weekend, right, with the UK card. Start the UK card from the top to the bottom. Now, what I love about watching cards from top to bottom is that you don't miss the banger fights in between those co-main and main events. Let's talk about that. We're talking about the Allen versus Mahmoud. Heavyweight UK match. One of the matches in there was Bilau versus Jannad. Jannard is a young man. Bilau is 37. Now he's supposed to lose on paper. The last fight was a draw. Other people said he got it. This person said he didn't. It's pretty crazy to have these odds stacked against you, especially in boxing, because the judges have to give it to the guy that's going to be the longer star. That's how it usually goes. And MMA as well. If the guy's not a star, he's going to get fucked on the cards. Now, this guy didn't get fucked on the cards. He outstruck. He outfought. He damn near dropped him in the third round. Shout out to Bilal Fauez. I cannot believe that this 37-year-old roared back that way. He looked more athletic. He looked smarter. He looked faster. He looked stronger than a much younger man. Kudos to him for coming back after that, though. Now, when we go to the main event, I thought Dave Allen had all the tools to win this match. I just think he didn't have the cardio to get past his own. Like he just didn't throw enough punches. If he could throw 10 more punches per round, he would have won that match. The other guy was tired. The other guy started boxing. He started outboxing Dave Allen easily. Easily. Just picking him apart. So like I like Dave Allen. I think he's a great champion. I know his story. I know how he talks about mental health and things of that nature. So I respect him as a man. But when you're in there with these guys, you gotta have the cardio. And that's what's that's what lost him the fight. He could have won this fight. Shout out to his opponent. He wants to fight Anthony Joshua next. That's a good fight for both men. Let's see if Anthony Joshua can get past these types of fighters at this level after so many big defeats. You know, he just lost to Dubois KO. So he's coming off of a loss, and it was shocking. He got dropped a lot in that fight. He took a lot of damage. Now, speaking of damage, we get into the boxing card, the innis boots boxing card. He's at 154 now. It is great to have him break the curse of Philadelphia this week. We'll get into that later. Let's talk about the Cobain event. Guido versus Alexis. Guido dropped him in the fifth and finished him. It was crazy. These heavyweights are thumpers. Everybody, pay attention to the heavyweight division. These guys are thumping. Every fight is action-packed. Even the Dave Allen fight was action-packed from the bell till the end. So if you see a heavyweight division fight, you should tap in. Shout out to those guys. Shout out to Guido. I can't. He got the belt now. He got the WBC Continental America's heavyweight belt. So shout out to him. He's a title holder now. And the heavyweight division is wide open. Wide open. Anyone can get in there. So when you're watching these guys, they can win two, three fights and end up fighting Usik. Just give him some time. Now, in this game, my man Lima, no time at all. First one. One and done. KO. Listen, the Eagles lost. The Phillies lost. Boots ain't losing. He's probably that pissed because of that. It's been a horrible week for Philly fans. And Boots turned it around, man. I'm really glad and excited for him for the 154 division. I think he can beat any of these guys. Any of them. Name somebody, I think he could beat him. I think he's the next one up. You know, the next top-tier talent that's going to be running amok across boxing. He's going to inherit the crown from Terrence Crawford. Terrence Crawford only got two more fights in, and he's going to retire. That's what he said. So we got to start looking at Ennis Boots, Decor Stevenson, other fighters that are just as great, just as good, with great skill sets, just like him, that knock people out in the first round, put them in a fucking blender. Now, speaking of people and putting people in a blender, bro. Out in Brazil, shit got real. We got Charles Olivar coming off a KO loss to Ilya Tapore. Everybody and me, and me, say you shouldn't fight this soon. We were all wrong. Now, let's get into the Coleman because we already know about the main. Let's get into the Coleman. We got Figgy getting the W over Montel, split decision. It was a close fight. It was that close. It should have been a split decision. I don't know where this does. Like the Bantamweight division, the division he's in is stacked. I just saw Henry Sehuda. He wants to fight Peyton Toblett right now. He's booked to fight him. The champion is about to fight Peter Young again. Adamweight is a oh man. It's a shark tank. It's a shark tank. And honestly, it's probably one of the most exciting divisions in the UOC. The UC is loaded with exciting divisions. Like it's always something great you want to see. Way Lee is about to fight Ballatina. So like it's it's it's real. The best versus the best. That's all we're getting in combat sports. We see Charles Oliveira get the sub in round two in Brazil. He is undefeated in Brazil. He shouted out his family. He raised his kid like it was Lion King. Like this is real shit, man. You can't make it up. It was great to see that for Charles. It's great to see him in a win column. And he just bullied him. Bullied him on the feet, bullying him on the ground. Gamrod, known for his takedowns, known for his wrestling game. Didn't want his takedown, didn't want to wrestle, he wanted to strike, and he got outstrucked and then he got choked out. So shout out to Charles. He called out Max Holloway. That's a pick em fight. If Charles get him down, it's over. If Max can keep it standing, he can knock him the fuck out. The fight. 55.
