The Fight 75 is live on The Life N Times Network. I’m breaking down Zuffa Boxing 04 from Las Vegas, where Jai Opetaia outclassed Brandon Glanton over twelve rounds to become the inaugural Zuffa Boxing cruiserweight champion. We talk the southpaw control, the pressure, the wide scorecards, and what comes next if Opetaia wants full control of the division. Plus, I run through the main card and call out which performances actually moved the needle. Clean boxing, real stakes, no filler. Tap in.

Late in LA, the fight, episode 75. We are here back for Zoofah. Boop Boxing 04. We talk about the Zofa boxing card, but first and foremost, we gotta talk about Carissa Shields handling business. Listen, she is the greatest female sport athlete of all time. Far as combat sports. I would say it's her, then Holly Holm. I only have her over Holly Home because she is also a two-sport athlete. She did not get a championship, but she did get in the ring. Well, the cage. Also, she has two gold medals in several weight class weight classes under her belt far as being champion in that weight class. So she sits on top of the Rushmore, far ahead of uh Layla, Ali, or any other person. It's incomparable and it's disrespectful to her talent level, to her accolades, and what she has done before anybody else. As one of the few, you know, they're doing it now, but I remember the narrative behind Carissa Schilds was totally different. There wasn't an engine behind her, and people didn't give a fuck. She has a movie out. She's in highbrow relationship. People are talking about her constantly now. It's a lot different as far as the attention. Now, let's talk about attention to detail. Zufa Boxing 04. We need to talk about how Dana White is setting this up. The card was very, very good, very, very competitive. Everybody who was there wanted to be there, and they was gonna fight for the opportunity to be there. Joshua Joshua gets the UD and the first, you know, main card fight, and then we get Vlad getting the TKO on Bunch in the ninth round, punches and bunches, really showing us the skill level versus the will level because Bunch was there, but he wasn't there, and I'm glad they got him out of there. Now, you get to Pablo Rubio who beats Aiden after being dropped twice. He got dropped twice and he went on to get up and win five rounds in a row. Shout out to him. Shout out to him and his will to win. It was incredible to see him get off the canvas and show us exactly what he's made of. And he's made of championship pedigree. I like Zufa boxing. I like the matchmaking. We get Ricardo. He gets an eighth round TKO on Sancho, putting on a lot of punches and bunches. It is it's great to see these guys. They're unappreciated fighters who didn't get the limelight or the shine they should have because they're hard matchups in the other boxing organizations. Now we're going to talk about the other boxing organizations, but let's just talk about fighting and boxing in Zufa first. So Jai Opatai defends his belt. He gets a unanimous decision. It was easy, UD. He won every round to me. Brandon Glanton is very tough, but that ref was tougher. We got to stop it. He did not call Jai Opatai for a holding when he was holding just as much as Brandon, if not more. It is not like this guy is a pushover. He was just too involved. It fucked up the fight. I'm not gonna lie. It it was it actually left a bad taste in my mouth. Now, Jai Apatai couldn't get this guy out. He also lost his IBF belt, and Zufa and Dana are beefing with all the other boxing organizations instead of just working with them. Because they don't want to work with the other boxing organizations. They want to dismantle and take apart them. And they're trying to focus on the future of boxing. That's why they're signing all these young up-and-comers, getting these guys coming out of the amateurs, getting funnel following fighters from different amateur, you know, Rita events and other things that they put on and challenging them all into box into uh Zufa boxing. And we're gonna get Dana talking shit about boxing promoters, beefing with them, arguing with them, paying boxers more just to make UFC fighters, not even to make UFC fighters look bad, but he does that anyway. He's paying boxers more than he's paying the U of C that's built his brand and business to even let him get into boxing. UFC fighters need to stop making jokes about boxers and focusing on boxers and focus on Dana and what he is doing with y'all bread. He gave Connor Ben$15 million. Tom Espinall just signed over there with Eddie Hearn. There's gonna be a lot of this, a lot of back and forth. Jai Opatai is gonna lose belts. He's gonna lose opportunities. People may not fight him. They're saying he may fight David Bina Videz after. But let's just talk about the fight. Let's talk about Jai Opatai. Great fight. He watched his opponent. He couldn't got the knockout in round 12. Brandon Glanton is a tough, tough, tough, tough cookie. Zoopra boxing in totality. I like some fights, but the undercard had a lot of draws, a lot of high action, a lot of draws. Not very conclusive. A lot of guys getting another opportunity. I like to see that there were guys who lost close fights and got another opportunity. And we'll see what's going on. These guys are fighting a lot. You know, boxing is dangerous. The guys who were on the undercard, they fought like 21 days ago, 18 days ago. Boxing's dangerous. Please, boxers, please promoters, don't rush into these situations and get into these fights every other three weeks, and your fighters picking up a lot of damage. A lot of UFC fighters ruined their career that way. I believe Marab did that. I don't think he ruined his career, but I believe it puts them in jeopardy to lose higher. The percentage of losing higher is the more you fight because of how high level everyone else is in the sample size. Izzy was fighting so much that everybody had too much tape on him. Literally. Everybody knew everything he was gonna do. But let's see what Zofa boxing does next. I'll I'll break down that as well. I do think Zoofa is good for boxing, but I don't know if it's good for boxers. We'll see. This is the fighting. It's Laneella.
