gonna talk about Spider-Man, brand new day. We have both seen it. This is exciting stuff. Before I pull calls, before I attack Tom Holland, I'm gonna be nice to him. I'm gonna review the whole movie. I was gonna say, you want to go first? You go first. You go first. Bro, I like the whole movie. I give it it's in the eight to nine range as a movie. I like the ensemble. I think everybody played their part correctly. I think G Gray was the best villain he could get for a Spider-Man because he is that powerful. People need to understand that that's how powerful Spider-Man is. He's at a mega level mutant level. People need to know what he is. All right. I appreciate what he did with his powers. I appreciate what the level up that his Spider-Man and his Peter did as far as the portrayals. I liked how New York was grounded. But I do have some critiques. I want to get into it. Tom Holland is still riding the cocktails of the previous Spider-Man. That just came out was basically Spider-Man 2 from the original Spider-Man series. He lost his girl, you lost his dick. Listen on the Toby thing. Toby already did all that shit, bro. And he got the organic webs like Toby. Come on, big dog. Listen, he already got Miles Morales' best friend. That's not Peter Parker's actual friend in the comic cannon. That is Miles Morales' best friend. The Lego shit, all that shit was from another Spider-Man. Like this Spider-Man is a pit, bro. He's a mix of every other Spider-Man period. And it looks good when it's all together in the context of a movie, but when I look at him as a standalone Spider-Man, I still got Toby Oberum. And I respect it. I respect it. I I very much respect that point of view. And I think I think we share that. Because again, I'm going to start off by giving Tom Holland his flowers. I'm going to have a lot of hot takes in me giving his flowers. And I want, I need people, I need people to really listen to what I'm saying and not really get baited in what I'm saying. Because I'm not trying to rage bait. But in my opinion, I think Tom Holland will go down as the GOAT of Spider-Man Peter Parker. Sure. Because of everything he's done for the character, how quirky he is, how he encapsulates the character of Peter Parker, how he interacts with the other heroes, with Tony Stark, his band, his banter, how he he interacted with the Avengers, his role in the Avengers, and how he really captured our hearts and how he just he was the regen. He was the refresh to that Spider-Man universe that we were waiting for. Like I remember when Civil War came out, and that was the reveal of him holding the shield. That broke the internet, bro. No, that was crazy. And him in the banter that he has is genuinely amazing because when he caught Bucky's arm and was like, You have a metal arm, dude? Like that banter is so Peter Parker coded. You know what I mean? Now my critique is going to be Toby is the most relatable Spider-Man, and that's why we love him so much. Yeah. Not only was he the first, but he's the most relatable. Movie one, bro. His grandma's bro, Aunt May's crib got blown up, bro. Aunt May Osborne's hand. And then he blew up the crib after that, bro. He didn't have real ops. Bro, and just got real ops. He just got in again, like, exactly. Like, mind you, Tom Holland started off with so much more than what Toby had. He got tech from Tony Stark, bro. Even in Brand New Day. And don't get me, don't get it twisted. Brand New Day was an amazing film. I think how they how they played Gene Gray as the antagonist character, because I thought it was going to be Mr. Negative, what we kind of saw in the Spider-Man 2 Insomniac game. Or yeah, in the Spider-Man 2 Insomniac game. I think Gene Gray as an antagonistic type character was amazing. Because again, you see how OP she is, even without the Phoenix Force, bro. Like, you know what I mean? This is all mega level mute, bro. Yeah, I need to understand. But I need to put respect on Gene Gray's name, that she she's a more powerful psychic than Professor X, bro. There's a reason that Professor X took Gene Gray under his wing, was like, yo, she's really goaded in this telepathy, in this telepathy business, man. But again, going back to Spider-Man, again, Tom Holland started off with so much more. The AI, the Tony Stark Tech, the suits, everything. Even just collabing with the Avengers. Bro, Toby. Toby's Peter Parker had nobody in his universe, bro. He was dolo though for all three movies. And he was getting it out the mud, bro. And mind you, what was it? The second movie, he lost his job. He lost his job. Mary Jane was cheating on him. Next thing you know, third movie. Yeah, bro, got married on his top. And then next thing you know, his best friend is trying to kill him. He gotta put hands on his best friend, bro. A couple times, too. A couple of times, but a couple of times he told Harry. He said, What happened to your pups? He held Harry in his arms as he died, bro. As they're saving the city from Venom and Sandman, bro. Real ops. Broski, like, bro, Toby was getting it out the mud. And that's why I got, I always have to put Toby as my top Spider-Man because he's the most relatable, bro. Bro, was behind on rent. He lost a job. He lost his girl. He almost got kicked out of college. Bro, he was failing his classes. Bro, like yo, that's a real business. And that's the thing, like, Tom Holland hasn't, we haven't seen that relatable aspect. We're never gonna get to the problem either. But but I will give it to him. He portrays Spider-Man and Peter Parker very well. The genius, the scientist side of him, the quirky side of him, the nerdy side, the emotional side of how he of how he won, he fixes everyone before himself. And that I think he captures that that that aspect of Peter Parker and Spider-Man perfectly. And I think that's what Brand New Day did very well. Brand New Day bit did very well. Are you Spider-Man or are you Peter Parker? And he really taught, he's like, bro, I'm both. Like I'm I'm good about you. I still think this Spider-Man is gonna be more known as a scientist than any of the other Spider-Man. For sure. He's gonna be further down that path. I think his suit will get better. The only thing is he it is not his fault, it's the circumstances of his universe, right? So of course, you know, and that's good. And that's that's another thing. It's the circumstance of his universe. Now, Toby is always gonna be the best Peter Parker. Yeah, he was the first. It's like we're always gonna love who came first. I just think he just like he just still, even till this day, still think he's had better moments against villain than Tom Holland. And a lot of Tom Holland's shit has been assists. He has does have a lot of assists on the board. Even this win against Gene was like an assist. There was a lot of assists.

There's so many characters that it's like Those are five core characters that are. Yeah, in every X-Men iteration, whether it be 97, the original animated series, Evolution, Wolverine, and the X-Men, like anything, bro. I'm so sure Beast was like one of the original comics, bro. I'd just say they they really skipped out on the opportunity to get us an original five. They are going strong with the ladies, so maybe it's more so for that. Yeah, yeah. Now, because the thing is, what I liked about transformations in Xenoverse 2 is that when you would transform, it would, depending on the level of transformation, it would snack at your stamina. That's what I really like. So it's like, okay, now I'll stay in Super Saiyan Blue or Super Saiyan God or Super Saiyan 3 just to do as much damage as I can within the next 20 seconds. But at some point I'm gonna have to revert to my base form so I can so I can recharge my stamina. Now, I think that was a really good formula they had going on in Xenoverse 2. Kingdom Hearts Anime Hype

And Kingdom Hearts, my hot take is that Kingdom Hearts, if done right and properly, has the potential to surpass one piece of the greatest anime of all time. That's a hot take. Or most like so I played the games, but when I was playing the games, I was younger, right? I'd never like as an adult take the time to play Kingdom Hearts and actually learn about Kingdom Hearts. Star Wars Visions And Disney’s Content Push

Remember, we were talking about animes and Star Wars. Remember, we're talking about Star Wars and Visions, right? We talked about that. And now they've continued their premise, and now we have the Ninth Jedi. I've been like two, three episodes, and it's great. It's great. It's exactly, it's exactly what we need. Refreshing, good refresh. It's letting go of Luke Skywalker and all the well, not you know, still gotta deal with Dark Vader, but like it's good to expand the c like the cosmos in the world of Star Wars. You know, it's just good to get fresh characters and do take on it. Because Star Wars is almost like dead media. And then it comes back around. Yeah. Then it does the classics, and then it dips out. It's a toxic relationship for sure when it comes to Star. Because like there's so much potential untapped potential in the Star Wars ethos that, and I think that's what Visions does so well that they're taking a bunch of concepts from the Star Wars universe and just refreshing it. No Skywalkers, no Palpatines, no giant wars. It's just what are these one-off stories that we can just give people that are interesting and what we can do with a lightsaber, what we can do with the force powers, and putting anime on top of that, man. Like I just, yo, visions for any anime fan or Star Wars fan or both. If you haven't seen Star Wars vision, man, highly recommend it. Because it's just, there's no lore. It's just enjoy it.
