it. But boxing, we start off the card, the main event with Carlos versus Israel, split decision, going Carlos's way. It could have gone either way for me. The fight was rock'em sock'em. It was back and forth. It was a lot of risk being taken. And I think that's a theme of the night itself. Risk has to be taken. Risk equals reward. You will have to shed some blood to gain some glory tonight. And I think every fighter did that. Shout out to Carlos. This is a split decision. It could have gone either way. I think that way. I don't know about everybody else.

Gary Antonio Russell Looks Sharp

Now, moving on, we get Gary Antonio Russell versus Victor. This is classic, classic Russell boxing. And I'm talking about their family style, their family hand speed, the range, the control, and all of this coming off of a layoff. So this is crazy for him to come off a layoff and get in that WBA super interim phantom weight belt. That is crazy, man. That guy looked sharper, faster, more disciplined. And he got the knockdown. And the guy was holding a lot. You know, people talk about certain fighters holding and this and that, but like nobody talks about it when it's the other guy. Like, Gary's trying to get him out. The other guy was trying to hold. It happens. Some people don't want to get knocked out in front of a bunch of people. It happens, man. Shout out to the Russells, man. I like everything those fighters over there doing. I like their whole camp, their family, and what they have going and boxing. It reminds me of the Mason Brothers. It reminds me of the Davis brothers. It reminds me of a lot that I like to see in the sport as far as family being first. Shout out to them. And shout out to the victory, man. U D outworked him. I had to earn it. Had to earn it. You know, he was working through his gears, getting back into the flow of things. I think that's why the couple of the first couple of rounds was a little contentious to say the least, but not in the point that he was going to lose, in the point that he was just gearing up and getting back into it.

Yoinny Vs Francisco And The Cards

Now, we have Yoinny versus Francisco, majority decision. This is another fight that could have gone either way. Both of these guys were young and taking chances. I mean, real chances throughout the whole fight. There were some sloppy Joe, you know, bad defense, bad jab offense, and bad jab defense. Like a lot of amateur young fighter stuff where these guys were taking the necessary risks and delivering power. You know, it was a real fight. If anybody took the route the right shot the wrong way, we don't know what we would say. Now, getting back into the fight itself, it was very contentious. I could see it being a UD. I could see it being more towards Joe Andy because he was engaging in the action, and that's a big thing in today's boxing, in today's judging. You also have to land, and I do believe he was the more effective, aggressive fighter.

Teofimo Vs Rolly Aggression Test

Now, here's the big thing about being aggressive versus being effective. This is the TO versus Role fight, and Roley was very aggressive, but was he effective? His most effective was round five. Besides that, it was not it. You can't you can't change your level with power. Power won't save you at the highest levels of boxing. Only boxing can. Teo Fibo possessed plenty of both. All you had to do was get through and weather that early storm of power. Because Tio is still susceptible, it is still leaky in his defense. He is not the most complete welterweight champion there. Devin Haney is the best welterweight right now. I think, and I like him to win all the fights and matchups here. I think he beats all these guys. I don't think they could do much with him. I think he beats Ryan Garcia or I think he beats Ryan Garcia or his opponent, the UK guy, Nigel Ben. Either or whoever wins, I think Devin beats either or. I think he beats Josh Kelly easy. He's the upgraded version of Josh Kelly. And he's a more powerful, more divisively responsible, more offensively capable version of Roley versus Teo. Teo is still small for the division. Role doesn't have the jab necessary to cut off the ring and deliver his power at the optimal levels. When he goes against A-tier talent that focuses on defense. That's the biggest thing, though. If you're just an offensive guy, he's still a he's a dangerous fight for Connor Ben. He's a dangerous fight for Ryan Garcia. That's why they both ducked him. Roley is not a pushover. He just doesn't have the offense as far as the level to access and defeat somebody with that level of defense. Even Teal's level of defense and slickness is too high for Role. If this was Roley versus Shakur, you wouldn't have landed a glove on him. And if Teo, listen, if Teo takes any of the shots consistently from Devin Haney, we see that Devin Haney's power came up. He's going to start putting these guys down. It's a reason Shakur wants to fight him at 144. I'm starting to think Devin Haney is Debo. We see who's
